After 8 weeks back open we are so pleased to be back in the Boutique doing what we love. Safely adjusting to the new procedures required to safely open have now become norm to keep all our gorgeous brides safe and happy.
Izzy, a respected player for the England ladies rugby team, came in to choose her dress just before Christmas. The nearer we got to the wedding, we joked about her not getting any injuries or bruises as she was sporting a couple of beauties when we met!

Guy and I knew we wanted to get married in Bristol and after a thorough search of local venues we settled on the Lord Mayor’s Mansion in Clifton, which proved to be a wonderful location. Allowing for the possibility of typically dreadful British October weather, we found a venue with lots of inside space, though fortunately, it was unseasonably warm and dry so were able to spend a good part of the day outside.
Our wedding day dawned with a classic Cornish fanfare of weather - blazing sunshine one moment, and rain to put The Tempest to shame, the next. At our welcome drinks the night before, we had had to wade through a small flood in the village to make it back to the hotel - and I had lain awake for several hours wondering how on earth my dress would survive the next day! But I need not have worried - nothing would dampen the spirit of such a wonderful day...

It all began with me, a feisty , determined 18 year old with some intensive sales training in a large retail company wanting to run my own business. With my childhood dancing influences and creative side and a mother as a dance teacher of some 30 years and seamstress we joined forces and our first little shop opened back in 1989 in Weston-super-Mare.
