Izzy and Jack's French Chateau Wedding

Izzy, a respected player for the England ladies rugby team, came in to choose her dress just before Christmas. The nearer we got to the wedding, we joked about her not getting any injuries or bruises as she was sporting a couple of beauties when we met!
Izzy, her mum and her friends were a lot of fun in the boutique, and after adjusting the style of her dress a little and fitting it perfectly, her and her mum collected it and her dress was carefully loaded into their cool VW Camper Van for the trip to France.
The dress Izzy chose was Lillian West style 6422, with changes made by us in store.
Here is what Izzy had to say about her wedding...
"We got married at Domaine de Vieux-Mareuil on the Dordogne, Thursday 31st May 2018 at 3pm. We arrived in France on the Monday and invited those who were staying in the chateau to arrive on Tuesday.
On Wednesday myself, the bridesmaids and my mum made sure all the little details were finished and in the evening we invited all guests for a drink with us and our families in the local town of Brantome and it was glorious sunshine! Then jack and I parted ways (as tradition goes) and had supper separately with our families. Jack stayed down the road in a villa with some friends whilst I shared a bed with my mum! She made me a bath and gave me a foot massage with some wine to help me sleep!
On the wedding day I woke early with nerves. I made sure everything was sorted for the day and then went for a long walk and chat with my dad....we cried....a lot! I then had a relaxing sound bath run by my mum. I then started the long process of getting ready. First one of my best friends came in to do my hair, which she did amazingly! Then I did my own makeup (as jack was adamant he didn’t want me looking different!), and put on the dress! My younger brother flew his drone through during this process and the resulting video is amazing!
The day was incredible, some highlight include:
My dad walking into the room and seeing me in my dress for the first time...we both burst into tears
Seeing Jack when I first got to the sunflower arch (I couldn’t look at him walking down the aisle!)
When we first walked into the room for the wedding breakfast and according to French tradition everyone waving their napkin in the air and going wild!

We then had a lovely pool party at the chateau and bbq the next day with all the guests who were still around.
